Officials at Helsinki Airport are advising passengers to fly with carry-on bags only if possible, and allow extra time to check in for their flights on Sunday.
The warning comes after tech problems hit the airport’s luggage handling capabilities during the afternoon – including for transfer passengers – meaning some luggage won’t be making it onto flights today.
Airport operator Finavia says late Sunday afternoon that check in systems are now working again, but there will still continue to be congestion in departure halls.
